Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a seasoned designer to shape the next generation of public safety applications. You will lead design research, architect cross-product requirements, and collaborate with the Design System team to evolve the design ecosystem.

You will coach designers, influence product decisions, and work in a hybrid model with 2–3 days of remote work per week. A Master’s degree plus 1 year of experience is required for this experienced role.

Qualifications

• Masters degree + 1 year experience.
• Experience designing public safety applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the next generation of public safety applications.
• Lead high-level research planning to inspire stakeholders.
• Architect product strategy and define cross-product requirements and priorities.
• Build partnerships within the Design System team to evolve the system.
• Coach designers and steer design reviews to ensure outcomes.
• Influence product-level decisions by communicating impacts on the larger ecosystem.
• Telecommuting permitted 2 to 3 days per week.
