Job summary

DeepMind Technologies Limited is seeking a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager for Safety and Privacy to lead cross-functional execution, aligning safety, privacy, and security for a trusted, compliant product.

You will co-design safety mitigations with modeling teams, ensuring responsible-by-design features from the base model harness to the final App UI, while balancing regulatory awareness and empathetic leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in technical program or project management.
7 years of experience in leadership roles with/without direct reports.

Responsibilities

Lead the execution of a high-velocity cross-functional team to design safety mitigations with modeling teams, ensuring responsible-by-design features from base model to app UI.
Translate ambiguous business priorities into structured programs and proactively mitigate risks to keep projects on velocity.
Mechanize critical parts of the business to generate predictable outputs and guide programs from conception to delivery.
Forge close partnerships with Product Manager, Engineering, Legal, Safety, Privacy, and other leads across functions and organizations to manage dependencies.
Provide clear updates to executive leadership and manage multiple time-sensitive projects concurrently.
