Job summary

Nubank is seeking a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager to lead horizontal infrastructure transformations across Core Infrastructure and Platform teams. You will own initiatives from inception to production, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and modernization of foundational platforms, with a strong emphasis on AI/ML integration.

You will drive cross-team collaboration, map dependencies, and shape the architectural vision, including monolith-to-microservices evolution and regionalization

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on technical leadership across large, cloud-native infrastructures.
• Strong ownership mentality with an entrepreneurial, raise-the-bar mindset.
• Experience guiding multi-year infrastructure roadmaps and architectural decisions.
• Track record in AI/ML transformation initiatives at scale.
• Expertise with monolith to microservices evolution and high-utilization environments.
• Ability to unblock engineering teams through deep technical contribution.

Responsibilities

• Own Infrastructure Evolution: lead architectural shifts, including microservices refactoring and regionalization.
• Maximize Efficiency & Scale: boost hardware, database, and network utilization globally.
• Steer AI/ML Platform Transformations: roadmap for AI/ML integration into core platforms.
• Collaborate Horizontally: manage dependencies across infrastructure, data engineering, and platform squads.
• Define North-Star Architecture: translate long-term vision into actionable engineering phases.
