Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior/Staff Technical Program Manager to lead the Advanced Targeting System from prototype to full-rate production. You will own the product’s evolution, coordinate across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and optics teams, and ensure ITAR/RMF compliance while engaging with defense contractors and government entities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years managing complex hardware development programs across the full development lifecycle.
• 8+ years combined experience as a TPM, Product Manager, Engineering Manager, or Engineer in tech or aerospace/defense.
• Hands-on experience leading ruggedized electromechanical systems—targeting, sensing, optics, or weapon platforms.
• Strong fluency across mechanical, electrical, and firmware domains with trade-off management.
• Experience owning a complex BOM, engineering drawings, and change management in a PLM tool.
• Proven experience with component sourcing, vendor management, and DFM/DFA with manufacturing.
• Excellent communication; able to translate complexity into business-impacting insights.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and U.S. Person status for export-controlled data.

Responsibilities

• Align roadmaps, manage timelines, and allocate resources across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and optics teams.
• Serve as primary liaison between engineering, manufacturing, product, and external stakeholders.
• Navigate ruggedized targeting system architectures, ensuring ITAR/RMF compliance.
• Drive prototype-to-production transitions, owning CAD-to-prototype-to-production cadence and changes.
• Identify and mitigate technical, schedule, supply chain, and compliance risks.
• Manage supplier, customer, and government agency relationships; deliver updates and briefs.
• Document tribal knowledge and build repeatable processes for production-quality deliverables.
• Travel to exercises and live-fire assessments to translate operator feedback into requirements.
