Job summary

True Anomaly seeks a Senior/Staff Product Manager – Technical to bridge product vision with technical execution in the space domain. You will translate user needs into detailed requirements and work with engineers to deliver capabilities for US Space Force and other USG customers.

You will own the strategy, map data and workflows, and define success metrics while collaborating with engineering, cyber, legal, and finance to ensure the product meets external and internal needs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management or technical product ownership experience.
• Proven experience working directly with external customers and earning trust with peers.
• Experience delivering against government contracts (milestones/demo-based).
• Experience with cloud-deployed architectures, containerized software, web-based applications, developer tools, and data products.
• Ability to visualize and communicate complex data and user workflows.
• Experience writing technical documentation, PRDs, or system specifications.
• Excellent communication skills—written and verbal.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Technical background (CS/Engineering).
• U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers, business development, and engineers to define product functionality and prioritize features.
• Engage directly with the US Government to align expectations and guide the roadmap.
• Own scope trade-offs between product vision and delivery capacity.
• Create clear requirements, epics, and specifications for engineering.
• Map and document user workflows, data flows, and system dependencies.
• Define and track success metrics, gather feedback, and iterate quickly.
• Partner with technical program management and engineering leadership to align backlog.
• Provide transparent program updates to executives and partners with clarity.
