Aurora seeks a senior software engineering leader to architect and operate cloud backend services for fleet optimization and remote support. You will drive high availability, mentor engineers, and guide AI tooling adoption in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.

You will balance shipping speed with architectural stability, conduct thorough code reviews, and contribute production code when needed, while shaping the team's long-term technical roadmap.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience including 5+ years in engineering management leading teams of 5+ engineers.
• Deep cloud backend development, distributed systems, scalable web services, and modern API design.

Responsabilités

• Architect, design, and operate real-time and offline cloud backend services for fleet optimization, task assignment, and remote support.
• Ensure core cloud services have maximum uptime, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and high availability.
• Guide and upskill teams on agentic AI tooling and workflows.
• Partner with Product Managers, UX Designers, Hardware/Autonomy teams, and external partners.
• Maintain high engineering standards, drive end-to-end execution, balance speed and technical debt.
• Lead people through 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development.
