Job summary

IBM Software is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the Kora Storage initiative. You will design and build a highly available, multi-tenant storage engine and set technical standards across the organization.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams, and drive architectural excellence for distributed storage systems in a cloud-native SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend/infrastructure experience required.
• Experience designing/building large-scale distributed storage systems.
• Strong knowledge of fault tolerance, consistency, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a highly available, multi-tenant storage engine for Kora.
• Set engineering standards and drive end-to-end technical solutions.
