LiveRamp is seeking a Senior Staff Site Reliability Engineer to set the technical direction for reliability across its global infrastructure. You will define SRE strategy, own architecture decisions, and mentor engineers across multiple teams and regions.

This senior role requires 10+ years in SRE or production engineering, deep Kubernetes and cloud experience, and a track record of building highly available systems. You will drive improvements at scale and influence product roadmaps.

Competenze

• 10+ years in SRE, production engineering, or platform engineering.
• Expert in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) at scale.
• Experience designing and operating globally distributed systems.
• Deep Kubernetes expertise: internals, autoscaling, multi-tenant workloads.
• Advanced experience with real-time and NoSQL databases (SingleStore, ScyllaDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
• Strong Python and/or Go; build production-grade internal tooling.
• Observability engineering: SLOs, SLI pipelines, high-signal alerting.
• FinOps: cost attribution, reserved capacity, cloud cost governance.
• CI/CD maturity: Jenkins, CircleCI, or equivalent.
• Cloud security: IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, SOC 2 / ISO 27001.
• Peer-recognized expert in LiveRamp’s technology ecosystem.
• Exceptional communicator; able to influence across engineering orgs.

• Define and own the SRE strategy across the organization—SLOs/SLAs, error budgets, and operational excellence.
• Oversee automation of critical areas to mitigate risk and align with engineering priorities.
• Develop and own complex software infrastructure spanning multiple products and services.
• Drive engineering-wide system design, automation, and performance optimization standards.
• Lead distributed systems architecture reviews and kickoffs across engineering teams.
• Drive high-quality API and interface designs across multiple teams.
• Drive architecture improvements across products and services.
• Shape product and service design vision inside engineering, anticipating internal needs.
• Maintain a complete view of LiveRamp products and SRE OKRs for roadmaps.
• Mentor Staff Engineers and provide technical feedback and guidance.
• Lead postmortems and drive org-wide action items after incidents.
• Establish and enforce production readiness standards.
• Champion FinOps across Kubernetes, cloud resources, and DB infra.
• Represent LiveRamp in the broader technology ecosystem.
