Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to advance wind turbine engineering digital tools and cloud-based web platforms. You will partner with Scrum teams, OSS owners, and engineers to shape the digital thread for proposals and simulations.

You’ll drive full software lifecycles, mentor teammates, and apply AWS services, React front-ends, and Python backends to deliver robust, scalable tooling for wind turbine design and optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or engineering or equivalent.
• Strong programming experience or equivalent.
• Proven experience in Cloud Computing/AWS.
• Familiarity with Agile or other software management techniques.

Responsibilities

• Advance state-of-the-art computer modeling and process improvements of wind turbines engineering digital tools.
• Collaborate with product/software owners and stakeholders to refine the vision for the engineering tools.
• Develop and integrate new digital technologies to improve internal applications and efficiencies; own full software lifecycle.
