Qualifications

• 7-10 years of software development experience, prefer scalable distributed systems
• Degree in computer science or relevant engineering field or equivalent experience
• Experience building software-defined multi-tenant networking platforms at scale
• Strong knowledge of L2/L3 networking protocols (BGP, EVPN, IPsec)
• Experience with gRPC, Netconf, containerization, and cloud-native ecosystems
• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure and open-source networking technologies
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a development team and deliver high-quality software
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including to executives

Responsibilities

• Develop software services to extend Equinix networking capabilities
• Design and manage scalable, concurrent distributed systems
• Align software design with business outcomes and customer SLAs
• Lead CICD pipelines with unit and integration tests for rapid deployment
• Develop observability strategies and performance improvements
• Collaborate on next-gen networking proof-of-concept projects
• Work with support and operations for production readiness
• Drive innovation and cross-functional collaboration
• Participate in incident management and on-call rotations
