Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Sector’s Software Engineering CoTE is seeking a Sr. Staff Engineer Software to lead the full stack software discipline.

You will drive strategic technical priorities, interface with EI&E leaders, and guide the development, deployment, and sustainment of engineering tools and training across programs. You will build and sustain a strong Software Community of Practice, ensure interoperability of tools, and advise on resolutions to performance shortfalls through root

Qualifications

• Must have a STEM degree with substantial software engineering experience as per the listed combinations.
• Subject Matter Expert in frontend, backend, API design, and databases.
• Must hold an active U.S. government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and define strategic vision for technical priorities within Software discipline.
• Interface with EI&E discipline leads to identify program needs and close gaps in engineering tools, processes, digital solutions, and training.
• Lead development, deployment, and sustainment of sector-wide engineering tools, standardized processes, digital solutions, and training.
