Job summary

Supio, an AI platform for law firms, seeks a Senior/Staff Software Engineer for the Ecosystem & Connectors team in Seattle or San Francisco. You will own integrations across partner systems, design robust API connections, and work with product, engineering, and customers to translate feedback into features.

The role emphasizes building reusable integration patterns, applying AI tools, and delivering high-quality data flows. We value initiative, collaboration, and customer focus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including building and maintaining production API integrations across multiple systems
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python. Experience with Golang, Node.js, and Postgres is a plus
• Hands-on experience using AI coding agents and tools to build and ship software
• Experience designing, building, and debugging integrations that connect two or more disparate systems, including REST APIs, authentication, and data synchronization
• Comfortable talking directly with customers and partners, including presenting demos and walking through technical topics with confidence
• A track record of taking responsibility, treating customer issues as urgent, and resolving problems without finger-pointing
• Ability to work through ambiguous, real-world problems and deliver solutions that scale beyond a single use case

• Build for Everyone: Create holistic, reusable solutions that work for every customer. Reduce error rates and improve the quality of data flowing between systems
• Partner with Customers: Join customer and partner conversations, present your work, and translate real-world feedback into fixes and features that make a measurable difference
• Build with AI: Use agentic development tools as a core part of how you design, build, and ship, and help expose Supio's integrations in new ways, including over MCP
• Collaborate and Improve: Work closely with product, engineering, and customer teams to prioritize the work that matters, and raise the bar on how the team builds and operates

Who we're looking for

We're looking for a senior engineer who is energized by connecting systems and solving problems for customers. You'll join the Ecosystem & Connectors team, which brings Supio together with the case and practice management platforms law firms rely on every day. You'll own integrations and partnerships end to end, work alongside engineering, product, and customer-facing teams, and show up with a sense of urgency and a focus on fixing the problem.

Compensation

As an early-stage startup, we offer a competitive compensation package that includes base salary, meaningful equity, and benefits. Equity grants are designed to ensure employees share in the long-term success and upside of the company.

Base Salary by Level and Location Senior Software Engineer

• San Francisco: $190,000 – $240,000 annually
• Seattle: $180,000 – $230,000 annually

Staff Software Engineer

• San Francisco: $230,000 – $270,000 annually
• Seattle: $220,000 – $250,000 annually

This role is open at both the Senior and Staff levels. Final level, and therefore final compensation, is determined during the interview process based on the scope, depth, and impact demonstrated by the candidate. Within each range, placement depends on factors such as qualifications, skills, and experience.
