Salesforce is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to lead and contribute to a next-generation Cybersecurity Data Platform in San Francisco. This IC role covers technical design and hands-on implementation of scalable data flows, including ingestion, processing, storage, APIs, and analytics integration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development with SaaS/PaaS/IaaS and 24/7 high-availability systems.
• Extensive hands-on experience building large-scale data platforms with Spark, AWS S3, streaming/batch pipelines and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong systems architecture experience in distributed systems and data governance (data mesh).
• Proven end-to-end ownership of features from design to deployment and maintenance.
• Experience delivering self-service data solutions and integrating with many data systems.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI and API frameworks.
• Excellent communication to explain complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Technical Leadership & Strategy for the Security Data Platform and its scalable roadmap.
• Architect and implement multi-tenant SaaS capabilities for global customers.
• Hands-on development of scalable, secure platform components using Spark, S3, and streaming/batch pipelines.
• Create self-service onboarding tools and high-performance APIs for data producers/consumers.
• Mentor engineers, enforce engineering standards, and drive cross-team collaboration.
• Define monitoring, testing, and automation to ensure data integrity and reliability.
