Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an exceptional Senior Member of Technical Staff to lead and contribute to our Cybersecurity Data Platform, delivering scalable data ingestion, processing, storage, APIs, and analytics integrations.

This IC role will evolve the platform into a multi-tenant SaaS, mentor engineers, and set standards while partnering with data producers to ensure secure, reliable data flows. You will work with Spark, AWS S3, and streaming pipelines and explore AI/ML for risk assessment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development in SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS with high-availability systems.
• Hands-on data platform development using Spark, AWS S3, and streaming/batch pipelines.
• Distributed systems design, data governance (data mesh) and integrations.
• End-to-end feature ownership from design to deployment and maintenance.
• Self-service data solutions and 50+ data source integrations.
• API design with OpenAPI and multi-tenant SaaS patterns.
• Strong communication to explain complex concepts to stakeholders.
• Graduate degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering; Agile experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement the technical roadmap for the Security Data Platform.
• Lead evolution to a multi-tenant SaaS product for global customers.
• Hands-on development of scalable, secure platform capabilities using Spark and AWS.
• Design self-service onboarding tools and high-performance APIs.
• Collaborate with data producers to resolve data quality issues at the source.
• Mentor engineers and set engineering standards across teams.
• Champion monitoring, testing, and data integrity frameworks.
• Drive performance tuning and cost optimization across cloud infra.
• Explore AI/ML opportunities for risk assessment and remediation.
