Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to lead and contribute to our next-generation Cybersecurity Data Platform. You will design and implement scalable, secure data flows, APIs, and analytics integrations, acting as a technical pillar across multiple teams.

You will guide the platform toward a multi-tenant SaaS product, ensure robust performance, and mentor engineers while exploring AI/ML enhancements for automated remediation and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development with SaaS/PaaS/IaaS and high-availability systems.
• Hands-on data platform experience using Spark, S3, and streaming/batching pipelines.
• Experience with distributed systems, data governance, and APIs (OpenAPI).
• Ability to own end-to-end features from design to deployment and maintenance.
• Experience delivering self-service data solutions for many data systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or Kanban environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement the technical roadmap for the security data platform.
• Drive multi-tenant SaaS evolution to serve global customers.
• Lead scalable, secure platform development with Spark, S3, and pipelines.
• Build self-service data onboarding tools and high-performance APIs.
• Collaborate with data producers to fix data ingestion issues at the source.
• Provide technical guidance and align architecture across teams.
• Define monitoring, alerting, testing, and data integrity standards.
• Perform performance tuning and cloud cost optimization.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering excellence.
• Prototype AI/ML opportunities for risk assessment and remediation.
