• Proven track record of owning complex software systems and driving technical initiatives.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering and ability to move between architecture and implementation.
• Experience turning ambiguous problems into clear technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own technically complex, high-impact problems from ambiguity through production and iteration.
• Work across the stack and across product areas.
• Shape architecture and technical direction while remaining involved in implementation.
• Partner with product, design, operations, and leadership to determine what to build and how.
• Identify technical investments that create leverage for other engineers and product teams.
• Raise the quality of engineering decisions through design, code review, mentorship, and leadership.
• Make pragmatic tradeoffs between speed, simplicity, reliability, and maintainability.
• Use AI tools to increase engineering leverage and shape AI-native development practices.
