OneTrust is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer in Atlanta, GA, to advance Data Discovery and Data Catalog pipelines and build AI model and asset discovery across cloud resources. You will lead architectural initiatives, improve stability, and mentor engineers in a fast-paced production environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on Java development, cloud-native design, and secure, multi-tenant SaaS concepts with strong collaboration across teams including Product, Security, and Platform.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience designing and delivering distributed, cloud-native services and APIs at enterprise scale.
• Hands-on debugging in Linux and Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with provider APIs, authentication/authorization, and data mapping.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, observability, and secure multi-tenant SaaS design.

Responsibilities

• Own the evolution of Data Discovery and Data Catalog services and modules.
• Lead a major initiative to reduce technical debt while maintaining customer stability.
• Improve reliability, performance, and operability of discovery pipelines.
• Design and build Java services, APIs, and connectors for AI model and resource discovery across cloud platforms.
• Drive architecture decisions and contribute to code reviews and testing.
