Qualifications

10+ years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
Deep expertise in fault tolerance, resilience, and recovery design.
Proven track record of org-level technical leadership beyond a single team.
Ability to reason about partial failure and design for it.
Experience shaping shared platforms used by multiple teams.

Responsibilities

Own long-term technical direction for GEICO’s tools and roadmap.
Define and evolve system orchestration patterns across architectures.
Make architectural tradeoffs balancing reliability and speed.
Integrate across vendor and bespoke platforms to unify developer experiences.
Develop ownership culture across Tech and drive high-velocity development.
