Uber seeks a Senior Staff Software Engineer - Agentic Systems to lead the Enterprise Security Team in building an advanced endpoint security platform for macOS, Windows, and Linux. You will guide strategy, architecture, and scalable solutions across vulnerability management, posture, and production services, mentoring engineers and delivering challenging programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full-time work in security or software engineering.
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, or Java.
• Experience managing security programs (Vulnerability/Endpoint/Application Security).
• Track record of engineering security and/or product development at cloud scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical strategy and roadmap for enterprise endpoint security.
• Set organizational-level technical direction, prioritizing opportunities and tradeoffs.
• Own the platform architecture and tooling for securing macOS, Windows, and Linux endpoints.
• Design and build next-generation security platforms to automate and scale defenses.
• Lead the strategy for identifying and remediating vulnerabilities across endpoints and apps.
• Champion engineering best practices and cultivate a culture of quality and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with IT, product, and operations to scale security improvements across the environment.
• Leverage automation and AI to advance enterprise defense from human-driven to AI-driven.
