Job summary

The Sr Staff RN provides coaching, participates in education, ensures regulatory compliance, and collaborates with physicians and the interprofessional team to optimize patient care outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing or equivalent with 2 extra years experience
• Three years of nursing experience; one year in specialty preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Lead department clinical activities and coordinate education with management.
• Coach and mentor department staff in clinical and professional practice.
• Serve as clinical resource and role model for interprofessional team.
• Identify practice improvements and opportunities for department education.
