Northrop Grumman's Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) near Baltimore, MD seeks a Senior Staff Semiconductor RF Test Engineer to lead test architecture for high power devices. You will build test solutions, develop software/hardware interfaces and guide the team through design, verification, and production phases.

The role requires strong semiconductor test expertise, leadership, and clear communication. Travel and long-term program exposure are included in a collaborative, security-focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 14 years of related experience; Master’s with 12 years; PhD with 9 years.
• Direct semiconductor test software and hardware development experience.
• Prior test lead or test architect experience, developing production test solutions.
• Direct experience leading a team of test or product engineers and training.
• Hands-on hardware skills including probe card and fixture/DIB design & coordination.
• Software skills in C#, Python, C++ or Java.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of high power packaged transistors test solutions for III‑V fab technologies.
• Architect new test solutions to meet product test requirements, develop software and hardware components.
• Develop test board interfaces for data collection and PCB functionalities.
• Mentor and train team members; participate in test planning and cost/schedule discussions.
