Job summary

Synopsys Inc. in the United States is seeking an experienced software platform engineer to design and build core platform components for a Physical AI system spanning backend services, data pipelines, and frontend interfaces.

You will develop responsive, high-performance web apps using React or similar frameworks and work closely with UX/UI designers. The role requires expertise in Python and C++, frontend frameworks (React/Angular/Vue), web tech, cloud platforms, DevOps, and 3D visualization

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience building production systems across backend and frontend
• Strong proficiency in Python and C++ for backend services and data processing
• Solid frontend development skills with React, Angular, or Vue.js and responsive UI design
• Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript patterns
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices
• Experience with OpenUSD and 3D visualization tools is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and build core platform components for a Physical AI system spanning backend services, data pipelines, and frontends
• Develop high-performance web applications using React or similar frameworks with UX/UI collaboration
• Integrate AI/ML components and simulation workflows into a cohesive platform architecture
• Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for cloud and on-prem environments
• Debug and resolve full-stack issues from API bottlenecks to 3D visualization glitches
