Job summary

University Health Services Counseling Center at UMass Boston is seeking a Staff Psychologist and Coordinator of Clinical Training to provide high-quality clinical services, supervision, and practicum leadership for graduate trainees. Qualifications

• Earned doctorate from an APA-accredited program in counseling or clinical psychology and an APA-accredited internship or doctorate in similar field.
• Licensed or license eligible as a psychologist and certified health service provider in MA.
• 3–5 years of post-degree experience delivering evidence-based and culturally-responsive crisis intervention, evaluation and treatment to young adults and/or adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, time-efficient, evidence-based clinical services including triage, crisis intervention, referrals, and individual/group therapy.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in quality management activities.
• Manage a clinical caseload to serve as many students as appropriate for services.
• Consult with other professionals and departments to coordinate care for students in need.
