Job summary

SkyWater Technology seeks a Senior Staff Production Planner to lead schedules at our Austin site. You will coordinate wafer production, align with internal and external stakeholders, and serve as the main interface to customers for supply and demand.

You will expedite and adjust plans to meet evolving conditions and drive improvements in delivery for urgent parts. The role requires 5+ years in semiconductor production logistics, strong analytical and communication skills, and independence.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor Production logistics/supply chain/manufacturing.
• Strong communication skills across all levels.
• Analytical skills to perform deviation management.
• Familiar with Oracle, Tableau, and SQL is advantageous.
• Able to train junior staff and mentor teammates.
• Works independently and may represent the team.
• 6+ years of relevant working experience can also qualify.
• In-depth knowledge of own discipline and related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Set production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials supply, staffing, and demand.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to start wafers with correct quantities and deliver to destination.
• Act as main interface to customers for supply and demand.
• Expedite operations and adjust schedules to meet unforeseen conditions; track and forecast.
• Review production performance and logistics, generate ideas to improve collaboration.
• Lead continuous improvement on delivery commitment for urgent parts.
