Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience building scalable Android apps with cross‑platform ownership.
• Expert-level Kotlin with coroutines, flows, language idioms, and best practices.
• Deep KMP fluency in developing and scaling shared business logic across a large codebase.
• Strong command of MVI and reactive architecture patterns across Android and shared KMP layers.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical decisions clearly to engineers, executives, and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the multiplatform engineering strategy across Android and shared KMP layers — setting technical direction for the team.
• Lead end-to-end execution of complex, multi‑quarter features and systems from architecture to deployment.
• Define and enforce engineering principles and best practices across Android and KMP surfaces.
• Drive architectural decisions across a layered KMP codebase — establishing patterns for shared logic, Compose Multiplatform UI, and cross‑platform state management.
• Partner with shared platform teams to shape contracts, shared standards, and a unified UI component library.
• Drive high‑impact technical decisions with product, design, and executive stakeholders.
• Champion software quality, testability, and build system health across the organization.
• Mentor and grow engineers at all levels.
• Lead incident resolution as part of on‑call rotation and remove blockers.
• Model rigorous code reviews to elevate standards across the codebase.
