Reddit is seeking a Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer to define and accelerate agentic AI initiatives, focusing on modeling leverage to improve model quality and velocity across the organization. You will lead modeling loops and use AI-assisted systems to drive faster, more rigorous development.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of ML engineering with production impact is expected.
• Strong leadership across teams and ability to influence direction.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced ML models and agentic workflows that help teams design, train, evaluate, and improve them.
• Use AI-assisted development systems to investigate model behavior, generate hypotheses, automate repetitive analysis, and improve code and experiments.
• Build reliable loops for data and label analysis, feature and embedding development, architecture comparison, hyperparameter optimization, and experiment readouts.
• Design evaluation harnesses to measure model outcomes and agent/workflow quality, including correctness, reproducibility, and latency.
• Partner with product, data science, ML infrastructure, and engineering teams to connect modeling improvements to user and business outcomes.
• Set technical direction across teams, mentor engineers, and raise the bar for modeling rigor and AI-assisted engineering.
