The role collaborates across systems engineering, testing, and supply chain to develop installation designs, hardware specs, and analyses for system maturity milestones.

The candidate will mentor others, oversee fabrication of components, and ensure high-quality artifacts while balancing procurement pace. Relocation may be available, and standard 9/80 schedule applies.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM bachelor's with multiple years of leadership on technical projects.
• Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis is essential.
• Strong collaboration across sites and IPTs to drive design maturity.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Mechanical Engineers to deliver design solutions.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Test, and Supply Chain across multiple IPTs.
• Develop and review installation and assembly designs and hardware requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and process compliance.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Manage relationships with customers, subcontractors, and partners.
• Guide test objectives, troubleshoot issues, and analyze results.
