Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
1+ years of practical experience operating lab-scale pilot line equipment for pouch cell fabrication.
Hands-on laboratory or cleanroom/dry room experience with battery materials and assembly tools.
Experience with lithium-ion cell manufacturing processes (slurry prep, coating, calendering, stacking, electrolyte filling).
Strong documentation skills and strict lab safety adherence.

Responsibilities

Support end-to-end lab-scale pouch cell fabrication and pilot-line activities.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain pilot line equipment and related tooling.
Conduct DOEs to optimize processes and identify CPPs for yield and energy density.
Perform inline quality checks and log fabrication metrics in tracking databases.
Troubleshoot defects and implement corrective actions with senior engineers.
Document SOPs and safety protocols for new chemistries and form factors.
