Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Staff Full-stack Engineer for Customer Resiliency (Senior Director, IC). You will lead as a trusted technical expert across the Card Tech+ org, driving modern architectures and platform strategy while mentoring engineers and shaping the domain’s future at Capital One.

You will evangelize best practices, oversee multi-project delivery, and collaborate with architecture leaders to define standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
9+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture and cloud.
Experience with enterprise architecture and design patterns.
Experience with data architecture and cloud platforms.

Articulate and evangelize a bold technical vision for the domain.
Decompose complex problems into practical, scalable solutions.
Ensure the quality of technical design and implementation.
Serve as an authoritative expert on non-functional characteristics like performance and scalability.
