Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Staff Full-stack Engineer for Customer Resiliency (Remote-Eligible). You will operate as a trusted technical leader, guiding domain vision, decomposing complex problems, and ensuring high-quality design and operability across cloud-based platforms.

You will mentor engineers, drive modernization toward microservices and event-driven architectures, and collaborate with senior leaders to set long-term platform strategies and API standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
• At least 9 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture
• Enterprise architecture and design patterns
• Cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• Data architecture
