Job summary
Capital One is seeking a Senior Staff Full-stack Engineer – Customer Resiliency (Senior Director, IC) to lead advanced engineering initiatives in a remote-eligible capacity. You will drive non-functional excellence, guide platform modernization, and mentor engineers across divisions, while shaping long-term cloud-centric strategies.
You will collaborate with Card Tech+ teams to deliver scalable solutions and champion engineering best practices, with opportunities to influence across Capital One
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS or a related quantitative field.
- 9+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, and cloud computing.
- Experience with enterprise architecture and design patterns.
Responsibilities
- Articulate and evangelize a bold technical vision for your domain.
- Decompose complex problems into practical, scalable solutions.
- Ensure quality of technical design and implementation.
- Lead modernization from monolith to microservices and event-driven platforms.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to define platform strategy and API standards.
- Mentor engineers and drive cross-team technical excellence.
