Baton Corporation is seeking a Senior Staff Frontend Engineer to own and advance the frontend platform that powers pump.fun. You will tackle high‑scale React/Next.js challenges, shaping architecture and driving performance and correctness under real load.

You’ll collaborate with backend and Solana engineers to define client‑server boundaries, ensure data contracts, and push for scalable frontend patterns while delivering impact across millions of users.

Qualifications

• Experience building and evolving large-scale production React systems serving real users under real load.
• Strong understanding of browser internals, rendering pipelines, hydration, streaming, and performance profiling.
• Excellent architectural instincts for scalable frontend systems as teams and products grow.
• Fluency with React, Next.js, and TypeScript, including state management strategies and data fetching tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve large-scale frontend systems using React and Next.js.
• Define and drive long-term frontend architecture strategy while implementing key parts of the system.
• Own performance, reliability, and correctness across critical user flows.
• Lead frontend design to handle real-time updates and high-frequency interactions without UX degradation.
• Establish scalable patterns and abstractions for rapid product iteration.
