Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a hands-on Senior Frontend Engineer to own our frontend architecture and user experience. You will design, build, and maintain our complex web applications from the ground up, collaborating with product and backend teams.

Qualifications

• Experience building front-end architectures with React 18 and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of client-side state management without Redux or similar libraries.
• Experience designing and implementing custom data-fetching engines and error boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Architect State & Data Fetching: Build custom client-side state architectures and raw data-fetching systems without heavy external libraries.
• Maintain High-Fidelity UI & Design Systems: Author and maintain production design-system primitives using React 18 and Tailwind CSS.
• Deliver Complex Clinical Workflows: Build multi-section forms with validation, partial-save, and timezone handling.
