Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer for Slack’s Frontend Infrastructure to lead next-gen frontend architecture, improve performance and scalability, and mentor engineers across product and platform teams in a high-scale enterprise environment.

You will own design decisions for core frontend modules, guide cross-team alignment, and represent frontend strategy at an organizational level while shaping the direction of the frontend at Slack within Salesforce.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional frontend initiatives to improve performance, scalability, resiliency, and developer productivity.
• Design, maintain, and evolve core frontend modules including WebSocket infrastructure, boot process, Redux/React layers, logging, and alerting systems.
• Drive architectural decisions to adapt frontend infrastructure to product and platform needs.
• Identify and resolve communication and alignment challenges across teams and stakeholders.
• Represent and advocate for frontend technical strategy at an organizational level.
