Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to design, build, and operate a scalable unified network model that powers Equinix Brain and NaaS initiatives. You will work across product, operations, and platform teams to deliver reliable services and insights from network data.

The role requires strong Golang expertise, experience with cloud and microservices, and hands-on use of observability tools. It is based in Dallas with on-site work and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing distributed, scalable, highly available software services using Golang.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in design, development, test, and operation of highly reliable services to model Equinix's network entities.
• Develop solutions leveraging data from the unified network model to provide insights for product capabilities and operations.
• Facilitate cross-stakeholder discussions to align requirements and design trade-offs considering performance and reliability.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate the unified model into Equinix Brain and NaaS initiatives.
• Lead development best practices and participate in on-call rotations.
