Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Staff+ Security Engineer for its Risk Engineering team in New York to take ownership of complex security risks. You will help define a strategy for risk management, build systems for risk quantification, and mentor engineers in understanding their security responsibilities.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of software engineering or security engineering experience.
• Calibrated risk judgment, with the ability to assess ambiguous problems.
• A track record of driving ambiguous technical problems to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex security risk problems and drive them end to end.
• Build systems to make risk measurable and let risk work scale.
• Mentor engineers and risk practitioners across Security and broader engineering.
