Job summary

Agropur in Eden Prairie, MN seeks a Staff Engineer - SME Membrane Systems to join our membrane technology team. You will act as the enterprise technical authority for membrane separation technologies across the manufacturing network.

You will design, operate, troubleshoot, and optimize membrane systems (RO, UF, NF, MF) and lead technical reviews of major capital projects, while guiding standards, vendor engagements, and strategic technology choices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (ChE preferred).
• 10+ years of membrane system process engineering and/or capital project experience.
• Experience developing technical standards and specifications.
• Strong understanding of dairy processing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the enterprise subject matter expert for membrane separation technologies.
• Technical leadership for RO, UF, NF, MF applications.
• Lead technical reviews of major capital projects involving membrane systems.
• Serve as final technical authority for membrane-related engineering decisions.
• Support strategic decisions regarding membrane system design, technology selection, and system optimization.
