Agropur Cooperative in Eden Prairie, MN, seeks a Staff Engineer – SME Dryers to act as the enterprise technical authority for membrane drying technologies across the manufacturing network.

You will lead technical reviews of major capital projects, provide design and operating standards, and support strategic decisions on drying system technology, energy efficiency, and product capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (ChE preferred).
• 10+ years in membrane process engineering or capital project development.
• Experience developing engineering standards and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of dairy processing and hygienic design.
• Ability to influence decisions across facilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as enterprise technical authority for drying systems and membrane technologies.
• Lead technical reviews of major capital projects involving drying technologies.
• Provide technical leadership for spray dryers, fluid bed dryers/coolers, and powder handling systems.
• Establish and maintain enterprise design standards and best practices.
• Support strategic decisions regarding drying system design, energy efficiency, and product capability.
