Job summary

Agropur in Minnesota seeks a Staff Engineer – Utilities Systems to act as the enterprise technical authority for utility systems across the manufacturing network, including ammonia/CO2 refrigeration, boilers, cooling towers, chilled water, compressed air, and plant water systems.

You will lead design, integration, and optimization, guide capital projects, and support energy management and sustainability initiatives. Ten-plus years in utilities engineering and strong collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of utilities systems engineering or capital project execution.
• Experience developing technical standards and specifications.
• Strong understanding of energy systems and efficiency drivers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as enterprise SME for utilities systems including refrigeration, boilers, cooling towers, and water systems.
• Provide technical leadership for system design, integration, and optimization.
• Lead technical reviews of major capital projects involving utilities systems.
• Support energy management and sustainability considerations in design principles.
