Job summary
Salesforce is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and maintain cross-region continuity workflows and disaster-recovery activation sequences for large-scale infrastructure. You will partner with teams across SDB Engine, LCM, Archival, SCRT2, HBase, and VegaCache to define readiness standards and contracts.
You will implement validation frameworks, telemetry, and dashboards to ensure we are ready now, not just during reviews, and contribute to automation-driven resilience
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in distributed systems, infrastructure automation, or platform reliability engineering.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cross-region continuity workflows and DR activation sequences for large-scale infrastructure.
- Build validation frameworks and observability tooling with dashboards and telemetry to answer current readiness.
- Partner with service-owning teams to define cross-system continuity contracts and readiness standards.
- Identify and retire manual steps through automation and document why each step exists and how success is proven.
- Build software with runbooks, alerting, observability hooks, and deployment patterns for SRE/DevOps teams.
