Job summary

GE Aerospace's Digital Engineering Ecosystem (DEE) team seeks an experienced DEE Engineer for Advanced Product Development (APD). You will architect, develop, and operate critical data platforms, build APIs and dashboards, and lead data pipelines connecting engineering tools for real-time program visibility.

You will explore AI/ML solutions to accelerate design decisions, scale data management, and ensure IP protection while collaborating across customer, supplier, and DoD interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics from an accredited college or university; or high school diploma/GED with at least 9 years of engineering experience
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience
• Active “Advanced Program” access
• Experience with GE Aerospace Digital tools and processes

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a robust digital ecosystem that supports engineering work, collaboration, and data integration with customers and Edison Works program team.
• Develop dashboards and APIs connected to the information in the DEE to provide customers and program leadership situational awareness of the program and facilitate real time decision‑making.
• Develop and execute a strategy for DEE data management ensuring customer requirements and IP protection goals are met.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and accessibility of engineering data, including design documentation, CAD models, simulation analysis, and test results within the DEE.
• Ensure seamless integration and interoperability of digital tools within the DEE.
• Proactively monitor DEE system performance and implement improvements to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Work with the Digital Technology (DT) team and Information Assurance (IA) team to implement software solutions within the DEE and coordinate support for networking infrastructure.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in digital engineering and data analytics and continuously improve existing tools and processes to enhance the effectiveness of the DEE.
• Incorporate the use of lean/flight deck methodologies within the DEE.
