Job summary

Netskope seeks an experienced engineering leader to design and operate our AI-native data platform. You will oversee distributed systems spanning edge ingestion, processing, and delivery, focusing on scale, reliability, and low latency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong coding ability in one or more of Go, Java, Python, or C++, with production shipping.
• Experience designing for reliability at scale — observability, SLOs, incident response, on cloud infra.
• Demonstrated cross-team technical leadership: influencing architecture decisions.
• Experience building high-throughput ingestion and data services using modern RPCs.
• Experience with high-throughput data pipelines — streaming and batch ingestion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across time zones.
• Familiarity with LLM-based systems, semantic layers, or data modeling for AI.

Responsibilities

• Partner with architects to design and evolve telemetry systems for global edge ingestion, processing, and delivery.
• Raise the bar on observability, SLOs, deployment safety, and production resilience of the platform.
• Build the AI-native semantic layer enabling natural language data queries.
• Lead cross-team initiatives, shape architecture, and mentor engineers.
