Job summary

Vantor in Westminster, CO is seeking a Senior Staff DevOps Engineer with Site Reliability experience to improve reliability, scalability, observability, and operational maturity of Vantor Hub and its supporting infrastructure.

You will work hands-on with AWS, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD systems, monitoring platforms, and incident response processes while aligning with engineering standards for production readiness and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software/electrical/related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in DevOps/Platform/SRE or cloud operations with production ownership.
• Experience owning and improving production systems in cloud environments.
• Strong SRE practices: SLIs/SLIs/incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Proficiency with AWS in multi-account environments.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell; strong networking understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability engineering efforts for the Vantor Hub platform and related infrastructure services.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines.
• Build, operate, and improve cloud infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, Kubernetes, AWS).
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, networking, and production issues.
• Improve service availability, scalability, maintainability, and security.
• Operate highly available infrastructure across commercial and government AWS environments.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve deployment safety and observability.
• Participate in on-call rotation (approx. one week every twelve weeks).
• Leverage AI development tools to accelerate design, testing, and documentation while ensuring reliability.
