Job summary

Phantom Technologies, Inc. is building a fully remote team in the US, EU and UK to own the SDLC infrastructure, automate mobile release workflows, and improve CI/CD processes for a leading multi-chain crypto wallet platform.

The role requires senior-level DevOps/Platform Engineering experience, strong AWS and CI/CD tooling, and a track record in security-conscious fintech environments. You will collaborate with product and engineering to set standards and accelerate high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, Systems Engineering, or a related role, senior/staff level.
• Strong experience with AWS and CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Experience supporting CI/CD and release infrastructure for production mobile applications, including iOS and Android.
• Experience working in financial services, fintech, or another environment with meaningful security and compliance requirements.
• Strong track record of improving developer workflows and partnering across engineering teams.
• Nice-to-have: React Native and/or Expo, mobile preview environments, or Appetize.
• Nice-to-have: Blockchain/crypto experience.

Responsibilities

• SDLC Infrastructure Ownership: Own and evolve CI/CD infrastructure using GitHub Actions and Kubernetes, with focus on reliability, scalability, and velocity.
• Mobile Release Automation: Automate release workflows across iOS, Android, and Chrome.
• e2e Test Automation: Oversee automated end-to-end tests with Maestro and Playwright across mobile and web.
• CI/CD Optimization: Improve pipeline performance, reliability, observability for rapid releases.
• Developer Experience: Partner with engineering teams on SDLC and DevEx improvements, including preview environments and Appetize.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure build, release, deployment meet security/compliance for a financial product.
• Technical Leadership: Set standards and drive improvements across build/test/release/deployment workflows.
