Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building production backend systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes-deployed services or Linux VMs in customer environments.
• Proficient in Go or Rust/C++ and able to work polyglot (Go, Python, C/C++).
• Hands-on production debugging with metrics, profiling, and autoscaling.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features across Connector, Relay, and Controller services.
• Own one or more Controller microservices end-to-end (rules engine, geolocation, event workers).
• Diagnose and resolve production performance issues (memory, CPU, latency, autoscaling).
• Write architecture proposals and design documents; drive reviews with peers and the architect.
• Investigate complex production cases requiring domain expertise about customer environments.
