Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking an AI Software Engineer to develop and implement machine learning techniques within the Qualcomm AI Stack, focusing on QAIRT and Genie.

You will work on efficient execution of DNNs, LLMs, and AI architectures to optimize runtime, latency, and power on Snapdragon platforms. The role involves designing core runtime components, validating performance, debugging complex issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of software/ hardware/ systems engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Linux development environments.
• Strong data structures, algorithms, debugging, and software testing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for Qualcomm AI Stack SDKs, QAIRT and Genie for latest generative AI models on Snapdragon.
• Design/implement core runtime components for low-power AI systems with small memory footprints.
• Validate and optimize ML model performance and accuracy; perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate across teams; lead feature development and contribute to best practices.
