Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. seeks an AI Software Engineer to develop and optimize machine learning software for the QAIRT stack, Genie, and related AI runtimes. You will contribute to efficient execution of DNNs and LLMs on Snapdragon platforms and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust AI solutions.

The role emphasizes low-power, small-memory footprint platforms, hardware acceleration, and ongoing system optimization across Qualcomm's AI stack.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
Alternatively a Master's with 1+ year experience, or a PhD in a related field.
Proficiency in C/C++ and Linux development environments.

Responsibilities

Develop software for QAIRT and Genie to support generative AI models on Snapdragon platforms.
Design core runtime components for inference on resource-constrained AI systems.
Validate and optimize performance and accuracy of ML software.
Debug complex issues and perform root-cause analysis to ensure reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust AI software solutions.
Participate in design/code reviews and work independently with minimal supervision.
