Job summary

Calumet, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to perform key daily, weekly, and monthly accounting, reporting, and analysis for the Montana/Renewables unit. You will collaborate with plant operations, project teams, and leadership to deliver financial reporting and decision support.

The role requires 3+ years of accounting experience, proficiency in Excel, and experience with large data sets. Knowledge of SAP and SOX controls is preferred. Domestic travel to the site may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting, finance, or related experience.
• Experience analyzing large data sets.
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, review staff-prepared entries, and ensure accuracy.
• Analyze P&L and balance sheet trends for the business unit.
• Support reporting related to renewable fuels programs, environmental credits, and carbon intensity metrics.
• Support SAP accounting processes for crude oil and renewable feedstock purchases, testing, data validation, and troubleshooting.
