Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and 3–4 years of related experience.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• CPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting records and financial reports to ensure accuracy and standards.
• Maintain the general ledger and perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review staff prepared reconciliations for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist with tax liabilities tracking for the firm.
• Analyze and reconcile bank statements.
• Develop and maintain internal control processes for accounting functions.
• Document financial records using current technologies.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Assist in system conversion and merger accounting entries.
