The role reports to the Controller, requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics and 5+ years of accounting experience, plus strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• Intermediate to expert Excel skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with accounting teammates and with managers outside the department.
• Self-starter who can meet strict close and reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work on-site in Knoxville, Tennessee.
• Preferred Qualifications: CPA, multi-entity close, franchise, or manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile accounts and prepare financials for multiple entities.
• Lead the annual budget process and ERP budgeting input.
• Support year-end audit and tax work, and assist franchisees with financials.
• Document accounting procedures and implement process improvements.
• Complete ad hoc analyses and projects as assigned.
